Just say no: Artificial Sweeteners

Most people introduce an artificial sweetener into their diet when trying to change their lifestyle, thinking that this is a healthy, beneficial change from sugar and believing that they are doing good. I wanted to fill you in on how horrible they are for you... just in case you are a Sweet 'n Low type of gal!

There are studies showing aspartame can cause CANCER! So there's you're number one reason.
In addition, artificial sweeteners are super processed and chemical laden substances that can lead to a myriad of health problems, including:

  • Migraines/headaches
  • Dizziness/poor equilibrium
  • Convulsions and seizures
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Fatigue/weakness
  • Changes in mood, vision and heart rate
  • Joint pain
  • Memory loss
  • Sleep problems/insomnia
  • Hives and rashes
  • Weight-loss resistance

If I were experiencing anything on that list the first thing I would do would be to cut out any artificial sweeteners from my diet for 7 days - and maybe make a life change for the better!
