Crock Pot Chicken Cacciatore

I have been craving italian food. Constantly. So when I saw this recipe on The Fitnessista I knew I had to make it. But I made my version of it, of course.



Recipe: Serves 4
  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless/skinless
  • 28 oz. can San Marzano tomatoes
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 C fresh basil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Oregano
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Splash balsamic



Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-6. I served this over quinoa noodles - but you could serve over brown rice or even mashed potatoes with a side salad.
